Parminder Kaur fills the role of Acadamey of Wellness Manager: Operations
She holds a Masters Degree in Creative Writing and has 15 plus years of working in administration at Chief Executive level primarily within healthcare and nutrition. She is also a Personal Chef helping parents feed children with food allergies.
Says Parminder, “I have a life long passion for learning on how to keep healthy in mind, body and spirit.
My introduction to the field of Nutrition was working as Patrick Holford’s Personal Assistant in London, which was the best opportunity to begin to understand the fundamentals of Functional Nutritional Medicine.
It is through him that I was fortunate to meet with Mary-Lou Harris, and that indeed was a personal blessing and a turning point. Mary-Lou revealed a more wholistic way of nurturing and healing our bodies not just through therapeutic food but through a range of various modalities, which really resonated with me. That meeting was in 2008, and since then I have been fortunate to have supported Mary-Lou in her mission to improve peoples’ health.
I have a real passion for cooking and I have supported Mary-Lou on her many workshop talks, whizzing up her therapeutic recipes. Prior to the birth of my daughter in 2015, I trained at the prestigious Leiths School of Food and Wine in London and went on to (what has become my personal mission) create recipes and develop menus to ensure that babies, toddlers and young children with food allergies can be optimally nourished.
I am so excited and privileged to be part of the Academy of Wellness, and look forward to helping this organisation, and each and every one of its students, to thrive and realise their dreams.”
